Hoddle Wants Hat Trick

Glenn Hoddle has set his sights on a milestone Wolves have yet to reach this season.

A hat trick of wins.

Speaking earlier today he said :

'Our challenge is to pick up three consecutive victories which is something we've not done all season,'

Ever the positive thinker, Hoddle is trying to instill that in his players, as well as the fans, even if things don't look too positive at eth moment

But then, he's no stranger to mission impossible.

There was THAT night in Turin, when the odds were stacked against him, and he confounded the critics then to get the point England needed for World Cup qualification

Hoddle is putting all the talk of this seasons unfulfiled potential to the back of his mind, and concentrating on the things he can control to help Wolves earn promotion.

And he is asking the fans to judge him on where Wolves end their campaig, not where they currently stand

'My energies are being directed towards the things I can affect - which are the players and their performances.

My aim is to get us into the top six by the end of the season and only then will it be the time for anyone to make judgements.' he added.

Ipswich are in a fine vein of form and will offer Wolves a sterner test than Burnley did on Tuesday night.

But if Hoddle can capitalise on the current feeling in teh squad following that victory, there is no saying what they could achieve.
