'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Rohan : Disapointed

Rahan Ricketts hasn't had the best of seasons. Consistency has escaped him, and his oportunitoes to correct that have so far been limited.

Speaking to The League Paper, he gave his thoughts on Wolves campaign so far.

'I can sum up Wolves' season so far in just one word - disappointing.' he said

'With the players we have got, we have under-achieved and not accomplished what we originally set out to do. Overall, it has been a big disappointment.'

Rohan understands the weight of expectation that sits on a Wolves players shoulders, but he isn't one to wilt under the pressure, or duck the obvious fact that Wolves have simply not been performing to their full potential, as he explains.

'It is frustrating because we have so much quality within our squad. Kenny Miller, Darren Anderton, Joleon Lescott and Paul Ince are just a few of the big names we can call upon.'

'We've got all the talent on paper, but for some reason we've not clicked in the games when we've needed to win. In my opinion, we haven't been clinical enough in key areas both individually and collectively. And, as a team, defensively we have been guilty of sloppiness.'

Wolves could do with him returning to his very best as they continue their hunt for promotions. On his day, Rohan can genuinely be a match winner, but those have been few and far between this season.

If there was ever a time for the player who bases his game on Barcelona's Ronaldinho to recapture his form, now would be it.
