Hoddle Counts Cost Of Win

Glenn Hoddle's side moved back into eighth place in the Coca Cola Championship tonight on the back of a hard fought and scrappy 1-0 victory over Ipswich Town at Molineux.

But in what is now becoming a familiar turn of events, those three points comes at a cost.

This time, it's to centre back Jody Craddock, who joins Tuesday's casualties Paul Ince and Mark Kenedy in the treatment room.

Jody was withdrawn in the first half of todays win suffering from a knee ligament problem, which with Gabor Gyepes out injured with an unnamed injury leaves Wolves down to one natural centre back.

It's hoped that the problem isn't too serious, and that Jody will be back in action fairly soon.

Though the rate at which injuries are occuring must be of some concern for Glenn Hoddle as he looks to prepare for Wolves next match, away at Hull City this coming weekend.

With six days to marshall his troops, Hoddle has time to asess his walking wounded before having to select his side to face Wolves next opponents.

As the clock ticks down on his first full season at Molineux, he will be hoping that its not the physio suite that decides Wanderers fate.
