'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Aliadiere Close To Start

Jeremie Aliadiere flew out of the blocks to do exactly what his manager had asked of him. Go out there and change the game.

Aliadiere has so far been restricted to substitute appearances, and those after the club had further delayed his first start by choosing to hold the Frenchmans debut back to make him elligible to play in the play-off final, should Wolves get there.

And he is getting closer by the day to his full Wolves debut, something Wolves fans can't wait to see.

That may not happen this coming weekend, but it's not far off happening now, something Hoddle is rightly bouyant about.

'Jeremie is not quite fit enough at the moment and has been doing extra training this week,' explained Hoddle.

'He came on and affected the game superbly at the weekend and as he gets fitter and sharper there will definitely be games he will start.

'It is difficult when you come on during a game but he has done very well. People need to remember he has not had much football over the last year, but he is keen to play and is certainly talented.'

'Whether that happens this weekend remains to be seen. He hasn't had much football over the last year or so, and that's been difficult for the lad because he's certainly talented and just wants to play.

'The team is confident and winning matches at the moment but there's always the need to try and improve it.'

And an improvement is certainly needed. Seven points from their last nine has flattered Wolves performances, that have been well below what fans know they are capable of.

But regardless of the performance, should they continue to gather them at that ratio from now until the play off semi's, their won't be many complaints from ithe fervent Molineux faithfull.
