Ins and outs

Mick McCarthy has stated his summer clear out, placing seven players on the transfer list.

Jay Bothroyd, Rob Edwards, Stephen Elliot, Darren Potter, Gary Breen, Freddy Eastwood and Darren Ward have all been informed they are surplus to requirements.

'We want to make some changes and freshen things up, so we need to generate places for new players by transfer listing some of the squad,' McCarthy told the clubs official site.

With on loan trio Kevin Kyle, Darron Gibson and Graham Stack also returning to their clubs, McCarthy looks set to crack into Morgans millions ahead of his crucial third attempt at promotion with Wanderers.
