'If It's Football, It's Vital'

SEB's sights on the top

Few if any could doubt the impact Sylvan Ebanks-Blake has had since his arrival at Molineux.

Twelve goals in 20 appearances says it all.

And also begs the question, where could Wolves be now had he signed last summer?

For the past two seasons, the innability to find the net has been Wolves achilles heel.

Defensively, we've been as tight as any in the division, but with no prolific goalscorer, have fallen short at the last hurdle both times.

Eastwood, Ward, Elliott, Bothroyd and Johnson all failed to live up to early promise, but in Ebanks-Blake, Mick McCarthy appears to have struck genuine old gold.

The thing that seperates the great from the good is their love for what they do, and SEB certainly fits into the latter.

Speaking to Skysports earlier today he said

'If you ask any player what they want to be doing on a Saturday afternoon, they all want to be playing games and scoring goals.

'While I've got the opportunity to do that I wouldn't change it.'

Neither would we Sylvan
