'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Comeback kids

While all the headlines are being made by Lafferty and McLean, three of Wolves secret weapons are steadily winning their race to be fit for the start of next season.

Matt Murray, Lewis Gobern and Mark Davies are all progressing well after suffering a catalogue of injuries that have restricted the trio to a fraction of the number of appearances they would otherwise have made.

The homegrown trio's medical records read like a nightmare, but all three remain fans favourites and their return is as eagerly awaited as the signing of anyone currently in Mick McCarthy's sights.

All three have it in them to be a match winner, if they can remain fit for any length of time, which is the unspoken question that hangs over all three.

We would love nothing better than to have them answer it, blazing a trail all the way to the Premiership
