'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Davies On Duty

Mark Davies takes a break from club action tonight, to step up to the international stage in the sell out England U19 match with Slovakia.

Mark was a regular in the U17's and aquitted himself well, eventually being honoured with the captains armband when the UEFA Championship qualifiers came to Molineux last March.

He joins another highly thought of youngster from the Under 17 setup, Theo Walcott, for a match that is being seen as crucial as part of the teams preparation for the 2006 European Under-19 Championship qualifiers.

Coach Martin Hunter said: 'I am looking forward to a very important game for us, as it is our last chance to get everyone together before the European Championship Qualifiers get underway in May.

'There are several players in the squad who are getting experience at senior level for their clubs and that can only be good news for us.'
