'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Olofin Off

Nigerian international Seyi Olofinjana has ended months of speculation and finally handed in a transfer request.

Wolves CEO Jez Moxey has said

'We agreed that, should the club miss out on promotion, we would circulate his name for transfer if he wished.

'As an experienced senior international player who has not only served Wolves well but re-signed instead of holding out to become a free agent this summer, he has given us the opportunity of recouping our financial investment in him to help buy new players.'

Opinions on Olofin are still mixed, with his consistency most often cited as his main failing.

But having ensured that Wolves will receive a fee upon his transfer, it's difficult to be too harsh on a player who on his day, has been a match winner.

Good luck for the future Seyi

He won't go to West Brom - will he? Rumoured that he's in talks at the Hawthorns but if he's been that good a servant to Wolves then he must be keen to avoid the fans wrath!
