Anyone Feeling Confident?

Fans...

We are all stuck in a different world from our clubs. Merely onlookers, trying to see into the hearts of our dreams. We all need to know what is going on RIGHT NOW.

Well here's the here's/now's yes's & no's of happenings from over the summer.

Yes's

* Wolves sign Sam Vokes from Bournemouth at the start of the transfer window.

*We then bring in Richard Stearman from Leicester, and David Jones from Derby to help bolster the defensive ranks in the centre of the park.

*Michael Kightly signs a new long term contract. We can all relax for one more season.

*Hennessey still hasn't left, but...

*The club is showing ambition - Berra from Hearts, McLean from Peterborough. Still looking for the perfect team.

*Steve Morgan reiterates his desire to improve Molineux - a new stadium/revamping the old one.

*Closely tied in with Moxey stating 2 weeks ago that Wolves will not be repairing its corner screens.

*Wolves have gone back to the good old multi ball system - about time too! Lets get some ball boys and girls now who actually watch the game - sick of these useless rejects!

*And finally, this is my opinion completely, Wolves have kept the faith in manager Mick McCarthy for another season.

No's

*The first one has to be the drama over the Freddy Eastwood saga. We still haven't shipped him out, and now we are resulting to force - 48 hours to go etc.

*Big George has stated he wants to be put on the transfer list. Never a brilliant player in my eyes, but on his day, he was the best in the Championship. Nice guy - but not Premiership Quality - LOL AT HULL AND STOKE.

*We have nearly 2 squads of useless want away or transfer listed players. Get rid of Elliot and S.Ward - now!

*No student season tickets - not happy!

*Britain didn't win Eurovision. What's the team morale going to be like now?!

*No sign of the toilets in all parts of the stadium getting a slight refurbishment.

All in all - a mixed summer of activity. A few major steps forward, with the announcement about a new stadium, and some nice signings/some on the way (Berra), but we are still stuck with players with no intention of playing for Wolverhampton Wanderers again - why are we paying their wages still then!

I'm feeling fairly positive! Overall I think we are in a better position than this time last year. We have already secured three potentially good signings while we only had Jarvis last time out. We also have three of the potential best in the league returning from injury at last! As we've seen previously though, one incident in the training ground can take out a player for a large chunk, or even all of the season. Also, what can look like a great signing can turn into an Eastwood saga. On the topic of our listed and want-away players, well, if they don't want to pull on the shirt then they should go. I Like George but he's only great 20% of the time. Last season he took ordinary to the extreme! As for Eastwood, well, I think he's a great striker but he obviously is never going to be part of MM's plans so he should go. The others we have listed have all had their chance and failed except Darren Ward, I don't think he did that badly and could be worthwhile even if just as a squad player. If we can land Berra (I'll believe it only when it happens) that would be great. Another striker to replace the three we have listed would be good too as I am not one of those who thinks Keogh is great! I'd like to see an older "midfield general" brought in to to give the team some backbone when the going gets tough like Ince did. Unfortunately these don't grow on trees so I'll probably have that dream dashed! A couple more names in the bag, clear out the rubbish, and I'll be as happy as I can be. I'll even get behind MM for a while!
