Handbags at dawn

Handbags at dawn

Sylvan Ebanks-Blake has been fined £1,350 after hitting a nightclub doorman with his girlfriend's handbag outside a Plymouth nightclub last year.

The 22-year-old was ejected from The Candy Store around 4.00am on 11 November 2007 and an incident took place involving SEB and a doorman, ending with the Championship Golden Boot winner striking the nighclub employee on the head with his girlfriends handbag.

The court praised SEB for his guilty plea, and previous good character.

What would Mark Lawrenson make of that?

The door guy got a cut, so I guess they probably wouldve prosecuted regardless. Hardly the bottling that was being reported earlier on this year though is it?
