'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Bothroyd Closing In On Leeds Switch

Leeds United are believed to have agreed terms with Jay Bothroyd, so providing he agrees to drop down to League One he could complete his move from Wolves to Leeds by the weekend.

Although Leeds manager Gary McAllister wasn't giving anything away as to the identity of the player that he hopes to sign, it is believed to be the 26-year-old striker: 'I don't want to show our cards too much, but we have agreed terms with a club for another player,' McAllister told the Express and Star. 'It's not completed and I'd rather wait before I say who it is.'

What are your thoughts on the news that Jay Bothroyd is on the verge of signing for Leeds? Do you think it will happen and would be a mistake to let him go?
