Wolves Keen On Celtic's Balde?

Reports in the Sunday Papers (the News of the World to be precise) are claiming that Mick McCarthy is interested in signing Celtic's out of favour central defender Bobo Balde.

The Guinea international, who has played in the last three African Cup of Nations with his country, has been told he is free to leave Celtic, having made only a handful of first-team appearances last season with his first coming a year after his previous outing for the reigning Scottish Champions.

Over the past two seasons the 32-year-old, who will be 33 in October, has played just over a dozen matches due to injury and simply not being selected.

Do you think that McCarthy is genuinely interested in bringing Bobo Balde to Molineux? If so, is this a move that you would like to see happen?

Bobo has been the best central defender at Celtic for the past five years. I wish him all the best if he goes. He never stopped giving his all and never hid, especially in games against the evil empire.

A useful addition to the squad. Would have preferred Berra - but not to be...
