Gunners Lining Up Target

Arsenal are said to be lining up a summer bid for terrace favourite Joleon Lescott.

The Sunday People say Arsene Wenger is keen to add a quality centre-back to his squad, and Jo heads the list of candidates.

Jo recently signed a one year extension to his contract, ensuring Wolves will earn a fee should he finally decide to leave the club, which has almost taken on an air of inevetability.

Sums up to 5m are being mentioned, a cash injection Wolves may need, should they fail to gain promotion this year. And may choose to cash in on, should they go up.
