'If It's Football, It's Vital'

And then there were three

Mick McCarthy's magnificent seven deemed surplus to requirement has been whittled down to three with the imminent departure of Rob Edwards, and todays news Jay Bothroyd has joined former Wolves boss Dave Jones at Cardiff City.

Stephen Elliott, Darren Potter and Darren Ward have still yet to find clubs, which raises the possibility of them still being at Molineux when the season starts.

Conspiracy theorists would have you believe that in Elliotts case, that was always the plan, but with four strikers, five if you count Stephen Ward, in the squad, thats a little rich to swallow.

Of the other two, it's difficult to imagine Potter not finding a club, unless of course he doesn't want one to.
