Mick MCcarthy couldn't speak highly enough of defender Neill Collins following Wolves 2-0 win at Isowich at the weekend.
Having come in for flack from fans for the majority of last season, he has been recalled following Jody Craddocks latest injury nightmare, and is repaying McCarthy's faith in spades.
'Neill is much maligned at times but he's done well and then gone over to left back again.' he said after the match
Collins willingness to become McCarthy's defensive utility man was part way responsible for he back four not losing shape at the weekend, and now, perhaps if it's not an improper phrase at the moment, it's time to give the guy a break?
