'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Signing on

Wolves have announced they have completed the signing of of Norwich City centre back Jason Shackell.

The four year deal is the culmination of a slow, steady pursuit that has seen Wolves once again stick within their young and hungry policy whilst adding campaign seasoned experience at the same time.

'I'm leaving behind some good people and a lot of friends but to have the opportunity to move to a club like Wolves is one I'm really looking forward to.

'The stadium and the training ground here are superb and the pitch is in great condition.

'I just can't wait to get to work.' Shackell told the clubs' official site.

Left back Jason Hill should also complete his move from Preston soon, with Stephen Elliott travelling in the opposite direction , to Preston North End.

And there is still the possibillity of one more permanent signing before the current transfer window closes.

One deal definitely not happening os the signing of Danny Higginbotham, who has completed his move back to Premiership new boys Stoke City
