'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Seventh Heaven

Another weekend, another win.

Goals from Michael Kightly and Sylvan Ebanks-Blake secured another three points for Mick McCarthy's men against Bristol City, their seventh in a row, completing almost a month of maximum hauls, which must surely make the September Championship Manager Of The Month now all about second place.

Plaudits must also go to Carl Ikeme, drafted in place of the suspended Wayne Hennessey, whose performance earned him a place in the News of the World team of the day.

But Wolves now face their stearnest test of the season so far on Tuesday against visitors Reading who are almost matching Wanderers in the free flowing scoring stakes goal for goal.

With a win stretching the gap between the two sides to 11 points, Steve Coppell's men will be desperate to come away from Molineux with something.

But whether or not they can contain Wolves rampant attack is yet to be seen.
