'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Mixed Fortunes

It's been a mixed bag this weekend for Wolves' International players.

Wales' trio Sam Vokes Dave Edwards and Wayne Henessey enjoyed a laboured 2-0 win against Liechestenstein, with Edwards scoring the opener.

Hennessey's clean sheet, and another fine display from Vokes playing up front with Molineux favourite and Sandy Toksvig impersonator Craig Bellamy.

You can kiss your Premiership badge as much as you want mate.

You still can't take penalties for your country.

But spare a thought for Big Chris Iwelumo, given his first full cap at 30, on a red hot scoring streak, who momentarilly morphed into Emile Heskey at the most unfortunate of moments, missing Scotland's best chance to secure a valuable 3 points against Norway.

Luckily, the Scots managed to salvage a point, and George Burley doesn't seem to be holding the miss against him.

We can only hope that he makes amends in his next appearance, against Coventry next weekend.
