'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Ricketts Hits Form

Glenn Hoddle thinks Rohan Ricketts has finally refound his form on the eve of Wolves visit to the scene of arguably Rohans best performance in Old Gold and Black.

It was at the Madejski Stadium, at around this time last year that Rohan ran the Reading defence ragged, and scored his only goal for Wolves, the eventual match winner.

Rohan has suffered a dramatic dip in form and confidence of late following a long absence with a foot injury.

But after recent solid displays, including stareting the win against Cardiff Hoddle hopes that is all now behind the lively midfielder.

'Rohan found it hard to recover after two months out with injury, it was a bruised bone in the foot that took forever to heal,' said Hoddle. 'He found it hard to recapture his confidence and form, but he's affected the game from the bench in recent weeks and did very well from the start on Saturday.

'He's a confidence player, and will gain a lot from that type of performance, it will give him the twinkle in his eye!

'I worked with Rohan at Tottenham and he needed his wings clipped with certain things but don't we all. He's still a character and we certainly don't want to take that character away.

'He really loves football and is never afraid to ask questions of myself, Incey or the other experienced players. He wants more football knowledge and wants to become a better player and that's something I like.

'It was a good goal he scored at Reading so I'm sure there'll be fond memories for him on Saturday if he plays.'

On that day Rohan walked through the centre of teh Reding defence before placing the ball past the Reading 'keeper to secure Wolves an end of season win that denied Reading a play off place.

It will take a conserted team effort Saturday, to ensure the tables are not turned this time around.
