Wolves ended last season as teh form team, narrowly missing out on a play off spot after an incredible unbeaten run.
But they have so far faied to capitalise on that showing and are currently one point outside the play off's in a season many thought would see them end as Champions.
But now they finally seem to finding top gear and Glenn Hoddle thinks it has been well worth the wait.
'A year ago we were in decent form but I think we're probably in better form now.
'A year's gone by and we've got a different set of players with us now and the main thing in front of us is to try and get three points every week.
'We want to get ourselves into a strong position for the play-offs.
'But this is a league where you can get tripped up anywhere along the line and if we're going to do it, it'll probably go down to something like the last two games.'
Wolves fans have always been in need of steady nerves, and this end of season looks set to continue that trend.
As the current capaign gets closer to the wire, can Glenn Hoddle inspire his men on to greater things?
