'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Murray Joins Rovers

Matt Murray has taken another huge step in his fight for fitness, joining Tranmere Rovers on loan until the end of the season.

Rovers boss Brian Little is desperate to have him at Prenton Park as John Achterberg is mow out for the rest of the season and Dino Seremet's loan spell from Luton is due to end, leaving him with a 'keeper crisis.

Matt has had a torrid couple of years with injuries since helping Wolves win promotion, but manager Glenn Hoddle sees the move as the best sign yet that he is fully on his way back.

'We are delighted to be able to send Matt out on loan where he can be getting games,' said Hoddle

'He needs a good run of matches back to back. This is a great opportunity for him and a good stepping stone to get him back to his best.'
