Boro await victors

Wolverhampton Wanderers have been handed the incentive of a 4th round home tie against Middlesbrough ahead of the rearranged 3rd tie with Birmingham on January 13th.

The tie, the last out of the hat, sees the two sides matched up in the cup for the first time since the 80/81 cup run where after a 1-1 draw at Ayresome Park, Wolves beat 'Boro 3-1 after extra time in a thrilling, rainsoaked contest at Molineux.

But first, there's the small matter of Birmingham City to deal with.....
