Winging it

Wolves wingers are making all the headlines, which makes a pleasant change from Rangers wide men.

With everyone left hanging for news of Alan Gow's possible arrival at Molineux, the unfortunate Lewis Gobern has temporarily slipped out of the side door, heading to MK Dons for a runnout ahead of a possible loan move.

Wolves fans have only ever had a glimpse of what kind of wonders Lewis is allegedly capable of, but it's hoped that his injury ravaged years are now behind him and at 23 he can finally start to live up to his potential.

One winger definitely not destined for a lower leagues loan deal though is Matt Jarvis.

Having taken up the extra year option on his current deal that expires in the summer, the Wolves boss is keen to see him join the ranks of the other McCarthy marvels who have commited their long term future to the Wanderers cause.
