More to come?

With the imminent signing of Alan Gow, Wolves fans are left wondering if there will be more signings to come.

There are certainly enough column inches dedicated to possible targets to suggest that Jez Moxey hasn't concluded all of his negotitions just yet.

Jon-Joe O'Toole, Marvin Elliott and Andrew Surman being the red top front runners, although with at least one of those, they would appear to be way off the mark.

Surman would appear to have put paid to any hopes of capturing the highly tipped midfielder after telling The Saints official site

'I still expect to be here at to be here at the end of January,' he said. 'I've got no plans to leave and as far as I'm concerned I'm still a Southampton player and hopefully that will continue. It's all paper talk and you hear a lot of rumours, but I don't read the papers myself.'

And it would take one hell of an offer to make Watford part with last seasons young player of the year who has so far scored 7 goals in 21 appearances this season.

The Robins have issued a hands off message to anyone interested in wrestling Elliott away from them, but that doesn't necessarily mean Gow is the end of the new arrivals.

Jez Moxey has a habit of both keeping a dignified silence and coming up with a few surprises in the transfer market and rarely comments on who his targets are in public.
