Potter flies out to Owls

Wolves midfielder Darren Potter has joined Sheffield WEdneday on loan until the end of the season.

Up until now Potter has remained at Molineux happy to fight for a place in Mick McCarthy's squad despite effectively being transfer listed last year.

But with the emergence of the two Dave's as Mick McCarthy's chosen partners for captain Karl Henry in midfield, his chances of a starting place have been reduced from slim to none.
