'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Bolton bound?

It is being widely reported that Wolves have accepted a £1 million bid for want away midfielder Mark Davies.

Davies, who has spent a majority of his the last 4 years on the sidelines handed in a transfer request at the weekend following interest from Leicester City and The Trotters.

The move would re-unite Sparky with former Wolves Academy boss Chris Evans who brought him through the ranks at Molineux.

It will also divide Wolves fans' opinions, with many feeling that after nursing him through countless injuries and glandular fever, there is a debt of loyalty to be honoured by the youngster.

"It will also divide Wolves fans' opinions, with many feeling that after nursing him through countless injuries and glandular fever, there is a debt of loyalty to be honoured by the youngster." Why has he not been recalled from his loan deal then? if he is so good and they dont want to lose him? i would suggest he may feel being left out means he hasn't got a future there, lets be honest, its not as if he is trying to get into Real Madrid's or Barca's first 11 is it?!! and if he is good enough, and he rates him as such, you have to ask the question what the hell is macarthy playing at?

Good points badreligion. From personal experience of asking him, I think it gets down to not feeling wanted at the start of the season. It's ok the club saying the offer was made etc, but actions speak louder than words. Maybe if he'd played a greater part in the build up to the current campaign we wouldn't be debating the why's and wherefores. My enduring memory will be seeing him walking through crowds of Wolves fans after the Blackburn friendly as if he was a ghost, looking extremely dejected and wondering why he hadn't played a part.

Sorry mate, but there is no such thing as loyalty in football anymore!
