'If It's Football, It's Vital'

A win is a win

Wolves 3-1 win at home to Watford couldn't have come at a better time.

Following the midweek loss away to second place Reading a victory was a must, and once again the team delivered.

With the Royals scraping a 0-0 draw at QPR, and Birmingham City earning a point thanks to a last gasp injury time Kevin Phillips goal, the cushion at the top is back to 4 points.

Which may help to calm those of a nervous disposition finding the fight at the top a bit too hot to handle.

Mick McCarthy has said many times that the promotion push will go right to the wire, and there is little to suggest he is wrong.

The difference between him and some fans, is he has never stopped believing that Wolves will be up there battling it out for a top two placing.
