'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Berra's Heart's Now Golden

Mick McCarthy has finally completed the signing of former Hearts captain Christophe Berra.

The 24 year old put pen to paper on a four and a half year deal for an un-disclosed sum.

Berra's transfer looks likely to be Wolves last this transfer window, although McCarthy hasn't completely ruled a surprise addition.

Talking on the club's official site he said

''We've got a good squad of players and that will probably be it now, but you never know!'

A possible hint that the club are still actively pursuing a deal with Chelsea to once again loan Michael Mancienne?

Probably.

Chances of Fat Phil Scolari playing ball and letting us have him?

Slim to say the least.
