'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Plug the leaks

If at the end of this campaign Wolves fail to gain automatic promotion to The Premiership, fingers will undoubtedly be pointed at the defence.

16 goals conceded in the last 9 games says it all.

Still top by virtue of the fact neither Reading or Birmingham City have so far taken advantage of Wolves, poor run of forn, to say Mick McCarthy has the luck of the Irish is an understatement.

The lapses that have seen Wanderers record only two wins this year have simply got to stop.

With games in hand, Birmingham, Reading and now Cardiff are all far too close for comfort at this point in the season.

It needs sorting, and it needs sorting quick.

Minor setback, easily enough to get back on track, takes a lot of concentration and consistancy, maybe the pressure of being on top and trying to stay there is getting to the players, I hope not.
