Wolves promotion hopes took a hammer blow last night when Billy Davies' Preston won their game in hand at Crewe Alexandra.
That opened up a five point gap over Wanderers with only six games to go, but boss Glenn Hoddle hasnt given up the fight yet.
'We have still got to play them and anything can still happen. We have got to chase them hard and put them under pressure. I have looked at their fixtures and they have some tough ones coming up.'
'We have got to concentrate on getting our results right and we know that in any given week things can change around pretty quickly.'
Preston's run in is far from easy, and one slip could let Wolves in.
But anymore results like last weekends and Wolves will virtually hand North End sixth place on a plate.
Can Wanderers finally found a run of form when they need it most?
