Cort In Line For Recall

Glen Hoddle's Wolve face Plymouth Argyle on Saturday, coming off teh back of a disapointing 3-1 loss to Sheffield Wednesday.

And whilst team selection will partly be dictated by who currently resides in the Treatment Room, he alo has one eye on the capabilities of his opponents

'I just have to pick a team which best suits the type of game we'll be facing. It's also about how we react to last week's disappointing result against Sheffield Wednesday.' Hodle told the Birmingham Post.

'Plymouth get the ball forward quickly. They're a big physical side who are dangerous at setplays and rely a lot on long throws and corners. We've got to try and nullify that and at the same time assert our own game on them - that will be the balance for me in picking my team.'

That may herald a return to the starting line-up for Wolves top scorer Carl Cort, as Hoddle looks to bolter not only his sides physical presence up front, but also their muscle defending set plays.

If Wanderers are to overcome The Pilgrims whichever strikers he fields will have to be on top form.

Chances may not come along to often against a side that has conceded little over a goal a game, the same as Sheffield United.

And failure to take them could see Preston widen their 5 point gap over Hoddle's men, and effectively end their season.
