Jody Cradock gave Wolves a much needed boost last night making it through his comeback match against Wigan Athletic reserves without a hitch.
Jody was withdrawn on 61 minutes, but this was all part of the rehabilitation plan, as he told the club's official site.
'It was planned in advance that I was only going to play an hour and I'm really pleased with the way it went,' said Jody after the well earned draw.
'It was my first football for six weeks and I came through OK which is great.
'It wasn't easy as Wigan put out a very strong side which included some very good players.
'But the knee was fine - I had no reaction whatsoever and although I'm obviously feeling a little rusty, this was a big step towards full match fitness.'
With Gabor Gyepes now out for the rest of the season the news will come as music to Glenn Hoddle's ears as he looks at selecting his side to face Plymouth Argyle.
