Murray Injury Update

Tranmere Rovers manager Brian Little has confirmed initial reports that Matt Murray was left out of their clash with Port Vale tonight due to an injury.

But the news is better than at first thought.

'Matt got a slight pull to his achilles tendon so as a precautionary measure we pulled him out of tonights game.' said Little, allaying any fears that it was a recurrence of his previous injurois to his foot.

No injury can ever be said to be a good thing, but under the current circumstances Wolves fans everywhere will be thanking their lucky stars that the problem isnt worse than it possibly could be.

If Murray can stay fit, he'll replace Postma no doubt next season.
