Gobern Wants More Action

Lewis Gobern, who made his debut in Wolves' 2-0 win against Norwich, is hoping that is only the start of the first team action for him.

The 20 year old midfielder told the official site:
'I didn't think that I'd get a chance to play. I was on the bench against Brighton and didn't go on so I wasn't really expecting it against Norwich. I did really enjoy it. The gaffer just told me to just run at players and to do my best, so I hope I did a bit of what he wanted. He came and said well done after the game, so I was pleased about that.'

However, he had one reason not to be cheerful!

'The only thing that I wasn't so happy about was that I should have scored but didn't hit the target. It was just one of those things, I know I should have scored but luckily it didn't cost us the game or anything so, maybe I can learn from that. Everybody was quality. The lads were all saying good things and were encouraging me and the fans were really good too. I really enjoyed it and I hope there's many more opportunities to play at Molineux in the future.'

There will be, and more chances to hit the target!

Although TAS lifted the ban temporarily, Roma don't know if they will be blocked from doing transfer dealings during the January window. If FIFA get their way, the ban will not be lifted.
