Vital Wolves: Dream Moments For Foley

'My dream as kid was to play in the Premier League and play in the World Cup for Ireland.' - Kevin Foley

WOLVES defender Foley made his debut for Republic of Ireland on Friday night in a friendly match against Nigeria.

Craven Cottage must be a strange place to make your International debut, but Foley probably didn't care too much about that as he played 72 minutes in the 1-1 draw.

'My dream as kid was to play in the Premier League and play in the World Cup for Ireland.' Foley told the Wolves official site, before adding: 'The way things have gone at Wolves, I'll be a Premier League player next season now.

Speaking about the World Cup in South Africa, he continued: 'With Ireland doing so well in the qualifiers, you never know, when it comes around in 2010 hopefully we can be there and I can play some part in it.
