Sparky On The Way Out?

Wolves much maligned left footed wizard Mark Kennedy fears this season may be his last at Molineux.

With a cull of out of contract senior pro's looking likely, Sparky fears that he may be one of the first casualties when Glenn Hoddle wields the axe.

'I'd love to stay but I wouldn't say I'm hopeful that it will happen.' he told the clubs official site.

'I have had five very good years here. I've got a good relationship with people inside and outside of the football club and I'd be very happy to stay on.' he added.

No one associated with the club will ever forget Sparky's marrauding left wing attacks, his powerful left footed shots, or his opening goal in the 2002 Play Off Final that heralded Wolverhampton Wanderers ascension to the top flight, after an absence of nearly two decades.

Kenny Miller, who benefited more than most from his whipped in crosses and perfectly weighted passes certainly wont.

Although now playing a more central position, and in a far more defensive role than those memories bring to mind, Sparky remains the owner of arguably the most talented left foot outside of The Premiership.

Should he leave when his contract expires Wolves will be losing not only their vice- captain, but a player who in his prime ruled the left hand side of Molineux like a King.

Thanks for the good times Sparky, from all at Vital Wolves

A terrific player when on form. Class left foot!

Cant say hes been at his best the last 2 seasons but has been a good player since hes been here and has an amazing strike on him with that left foot - Most notably past Sheff Utd play off final. :D

So, do you think he can do a job for a league 1 or 2 side?
