Rangers midfielder set for Premier League switch?

Birmingham City and Wolves are being linked with Rangers midfielder Charlie Adam - Sunday Mercury

RANGERS midfielder Charlie Adam could be set to switch from the Scottish Premier League to the Premier League according to reports.

Wolves and yet again Birmingham, have both been linked with a player for what seems like the 1,000th time of the summer.

Last season Adam left Ibrox on loan, playing 13 times for Blackpool, scoring twice.

The report comes via internet site Tribalfootball, who have quoted Blackpool manager Ian Holloway.

"My understanding of what happened at the player of the year presentation was that Charlie did not really answer the question when he was asked about staying at Blackpool.

''He also said he might be going to Birmingham or Wolves." Holloway said.

Vital Wolves Comment: Since when did people take quotes from Ian Holloway seriously?

I wrote a piece on Charlie last week stating that he was being chased by Blackpool, Barnsley and Reading and Rangers £500,000 tag was too high for them......any side that goes for Charlie at that price is getting a bargain !

I remain to be convinced that he is any better than we already have...
