COVENTRY CITY captain Scott Dann has joined Birmingham in a deal believed to be for 4million deal.

The 22-year-old defender started his career at Walsall before moving to Coventry at the beginning of 2008.

He soon became captain of the side and has picked up 2 caps for the Under-21 England side.

Wolves had been linked with him, but apparently he choose Birmingham over us.

Vital Wolves Comment: Frustrating if he has actually chosen them over us, but we've been linked to other targets and there is still a long summer to go!

A good player but no better than what we already have with Stearman and Berra - and far too expensive both in transfer fee and wages...
