NEW signing Nenad Milijaš has spoke to the official site explaining why he decided to join Wolves for an undisclosed fee.

The 26-year-old Serbian midfielder was Red Star Belgrade captain, but wanted to move to the Premier League, ignoring reported offers from Panathinaikos, Roma, CSKA Moscow and Borussia Dortmund, while Aston Villa was also linked with a late move.

But over the weekend Milijas travelled to Molineux, passed his medical and signed a 4 year deal with the club.

'Wolves are a very big club and I am delighted to have agreed to join. Hopefully I can come in and help Wolves in the Premier League and I am sure Wolves will help me in my career as well. Milijas said.

'I will give it my very best and hopefully next season Wolves can establish themselves in the league.

'For me the Premier League is the best and the hardest league in the world and it's been my ambition to play there for a long time.
