FOLLOWING on from Stephen Ward looking out for the fixtures against Manchester United and Liverpool, 21-year-old George Friend has confessed to looking out for the away trip to White Hart Lane, the home of Spurs.

"I`ll look forward to going to White Hart Lane more than anywhere because me and my mum support Spurs.' Friend told the Express & Star.

"But to be part of a match at any Premier League stadium is brilliant and I`m really looking forward to it.'

Vital Wolves Comment: I think the only way Friend will be visiting White Hart Lane is if he buys a ticket.

Thanks Gary - look forward to playing the Spurs. Cant say I appreciate the snide comment by the editorial team about George Friend. He is a great prospect and dont rule him out about appearing at Spurs - if only on the bench.

I'll second what Gary said. Glad to see Wolves back and look forward to playing them at the Lane (& Mollineux). I think you have a 50/50 chance of staying up IMO, good luck!

astraltrader, it was just a sarcastic comment. I think we'll sign more players which will make it harder and harder for him to break into the team.

I told my dad that I liked Wolves as a kid..he gave me a clip round the ear and took me to a Spurs game and I never looked back (well, maybe once or twice) but I still have a soft spot for Wolves. Good luck with the upcoming campain!
