ENGLAND striker Michael Owen has admitted that he will leave Newcastle United over the summer.
The striker has been written off by most of the media and despite being quoted as stating that he would not discuss clubs who have shown an interest until he is officially a free agent, one internet site has linked Hull, Stoke, Aston Villa, Everton and Wolves to Owen.
Anyone who writes off Owen is a fool in my book, yes he has had injuries and probably suffered with a lack of drive at Newcastle, but who wouldn't under the circumstances Newcastle have suffered recently?
He will bounce back and score goals for years to come.
That said, his wages are likely to put off most sides interested in signing him and that includes Wolves.
Vital Wolves Comment: A nice link and certainly one I didn't see writing myself a couple of years back, but it isn't going to happen.
