Wolves: McCarthy chases former Man City defender

Wolves boss Mick McCarthy is ready to bid for Mills this summer - Daily Star

DONCASTER ROVERS defender Matthew Mills could be set for a return to the Premier League with Wolves according to the Daily Star.

Mills has picked up a handful of Premier League appearances with Manchester City and has established himself as a promising Championship central defender with Southampton, Coventry, Colchester and Doncaster.

From what I have seen of Mills, he certainly has potential and would be a good signing. Not the experienced centre half we are all craving, but a good purchase if true.

Vital Wolves Pointless Fact: Mills previously dated Hollyoaks actress Emma Rigby who plays Hannah Ashworth.

Sorry to disappoint you all but when Matty Mills was at City he was a lovely lad, but had a turning circle of an aircraft carrier and was marginally faster than paint drying

Ohhh. For a terrible minute then I thought you were talking about Danny Mills. Perish the thought. But no I remember Matt being brought in by Wigley in Pearce's time. He has since been a decent championship player. Is he ready to make the step up?
