Vital Wolves: Clutch of players in talks

WOLVES chairman Steve Morgan is sounding confident ahead of Wolves return to the Premier League.

Morgan apparently made an appearance on Sky Sports News earlier today, unfortunately I missed it so am having to report it second hand.

Now according to my mate, we've signed David Beckham and Morgan spoke highly of Reading striker Kevin Doyle.

I'm going to hazard a guess that my so called mate is pulling my chain with one of those links, but I may be mistaken.

Moving swiftly on and Morgan has also spoken to the official site, revealing that we are in discussions with a clutch of potential new signings.

I've heard we are targeting at least another five, so that must be what Morgan is referring too.

'I think we've got a great squad which we're in the process of adding to,' said Morgan to the official site.

'We've added two so far and with the nucleus of what we already have, and with the quality of players we're hoping to bring in, I think we'll give anyone a run for their money next season.

'I was with Mick and Jez this morning and we're in negotiations with another clutch of players at this very moment in time.

'The quality of players we're talking about, added to what we already have will mean we'll give anyone a game.'
