MICK McCarthy has opted against signing former Reading striker Leroy Lita according to the Express & Star.
Lita had reportedly held talks about a move to Molineux and had a tour of the training facilities.
But McCarthy took offence at Lita's request to keep his options open and has now ended his interest in the pacey striker.
Just like Marcus Hahnemann, Lita is out of contract at Reading and is available on a free transfer. But he now looks set to move to another Championship side with interest shown by Middlesbrough and Crystal Palace.
Vital Wolves Comment: This one looks like another deal that has come down to money.
Have to agree with Mick to move onto other targets. While a big fan of Lita, if the desire is not there to want to jump at the chance of proving himself in the Premier League, then let him go elsewhere for a bigger pay cheque.
