MICK McCarthy has made a £1.5 million bid for 29-year-old Croatian midfielder Jerko Leko according to the Mirror.
The paper appears convinced that the deal could be completed as early as this week.
Leko has won 50 caps with Croatia, but French side Monaco have transfer listed him after making 81 appearances over the past 3 years.
Leko last year was linked with a move to Scottish side Celtic, as his agent believed leaving French football for Scotland would be a good career move.
Vital Wolves Comment: If Leko can secure a move to the Premier League that would be an even better career move!
But is it a good move for Wolves? We have no idea? So if you do, let us know!
