Vital Wolves: Three signings in Three days

Wolves are set to complete their third signing in as many days with the capture of Sunderland defender Greg Halford for £2million - Express & Star

GONE are the complaints of Wolves being left behind in the race for new signings!

Wolves apparently were slow off the mark building for the new season, with frustrations building over the lack of new signings following the Championship title last season.

The in came Nenad Milijas, swiftly followed by Marcus Hahnemann.

It all went a little quiet for a week or so, but this week the revolving door has been left on at Molineux with Kevin Doyle and Andrew Surman signed over the past couple of days and now reports of a third signing in three days with Sunderland defender Greg Halford signing for £2million.

Mick McCarthy has now spent in the region of £12million, bolstering the ranks in every position.

A new goaltender, defender, two midfielder's and a striker and everyone expects even more new blood to be injected into the squad before the start of the new campaign!

Vital Wolves Comment: This one stayed under the radar, while we at Vital Wolves were tipped off in regards to the Surman deal, we didn't know about this one!

Rivals Network Closes

The original network for football fan sites rivals.net has closed down.

Over the past couple of years the network has been in decline, with many pointing fingers towards the recent takeover by Sky. But now news has come to us that the network has been taken offline. Leaving many football fans homeless.

However with news and views, along with message boards, polls and article comments, everything you need in a fans site is right here and Vital Wolves welcomes you all!

You can even win prizes, just by voicing your opinion on the articles comments, having a laugh on message forums and voting on the polls.

As the Vital motto goes, we are by the fans, for the fans and we are 100% interactive! So get involved! As well as having your say on the articles and the forums, you can also get your view published by suggesting an article or a poll!

We don`t mind what the topic is, as long as it is loosely related to Wolverhampton and isn`t libellous or offensive. We will always do our best to publish your work as long as it is suitable!
