Franek : Better To Come

Wolves striker Tomasz Frankowski has not had teh impact that was expected when he signed for the black country club..

Many players would brush that off, go home and watch their bank account swell, but Frankowski has gone a long way to endearing himself to the loyal Wanderers following by not only expressing his own dissapointment, but talking honestly about his progress in England over the last three months.

Talking to Thursday's E&S he said

'I know I've let the manager and the team down and for that I apologise. The manager showed faith to bring me here and I haven't yet repaid it.' Frankowski confessed

I appreciate I was brought here to help get this club promoted and I've not performed. There have been occasions when I've had decent games, but it's not good enough when you're judged on goals.'

'I have two years left on my current deal and I intend to honour that and prove to Wolves fans I'm good enough!'

Vital Wolves has long been a champion of

he Fox In The Box, and if anything, tonights interview makes us more convinced that Franek has what it takes to become a Wanderers favourite.

In the words of Half Man, Half Biscuit,

Frankowski is a Wanderer, a Wanderer, a Wanderer

rankowski is a Wanderer

nd so is Jo Lescott
