WOLVES goal king Sylvan Ebanks-Blake will not allow a possible England call up to distract him from his natural game.

Sylvan Ebanks-Blake has been impressing many with his goal tally in the Championship and he now sees it as a step up to prove he can also do it in the Premier League.

"It`s down to me - if I produce on the pitch in the Premier League, then I`m in no doubt there`s every chance I`ll be considered.' Ebanks-Blake told the Express & Star.

"I can`t score goals in a league I haven`t played in. Until or unless I do that, I`m pretty much in the same boat as anyone.

"If I do well, I`ve got every chance and if I don`t, I won`t.

"I just get on with playing football - it`s not going to happen if I get distracted by it."

Vital Wolves Comment: I have no doubt that Sylvan Ebanks-Blake will be able to bag plenty of goals in the Premier League this season.

Will that be enough to fire him into the England team and a possible World Cup place this time next year?

One thing is for certain, if he does, it means he will have had a fantastic season banging in the goals for Wolves!
