Liverpool legend backs Ebanks-Blake for England

Robbie Fowler has tipped Wolves hot-shot Sylvan Ebanks-Blake to gatecrash England`s World Cup plans - Express & Star

VITAL ENGLAND recently ran a poll on our hotshot striker.

They asked whether Ebanks-Blake could get an England call-up, with only 12% voting positively with another 33% sitting on the fence.

But that isn't a view shared by former England striker Robbie Fowler who is set to play against Ebanks-Blake for North Queensland Fury on Wednesday.

"I don`t see why he can`t play for England. If he keeps moving the way he is and keeps scoring that amount of goals, it will be hard for the England set-up to overlook him.' Fowler told the Express & Star.

"His record in the Championship is fantastic. He went to Plymouth and scored lots of goals, he then he went to Wolves and he hasn`t stopped scoring.

"If he continues to score goals, then he`ll do well in the Premier League."

Vital Wolves Comment: No offence to the chaps over at Vital England, but we know him a little better over here on Vital Wolves and Sylvan Ebanks-Blake has the potential to bang in 20 plus goals this season and if he does that, he will be boarding the plane to South Africa with England next summer.
